Request Time Off
This screen allows your
employees to send requests for time off to the supervisor that they are
assigned to in the system. Click on the [REQUEST TIME OFF] icon located
in the Self Service Menu on the
left-hand side of the screen.
The procedure for requesting
time off consists of three steps.
Absence Request
This screen allows you
to select the accrual policy that you would like absence hours to be deducted from.
Each absence policy in
the system is displayed in the Absence
Name column. The Balance
column displays the number of hours that are available to the employee
for this policy.
Select the desired policy
by clicking on the [REQUEST] icon located to the right of the screen.
The “Choose Hours Per Day” screen opens.
Choose Hours Per Day
Once an absence policy
has been selected, this screen allows you to select the number of absence hours that you would
like to request.
Click on the icon that
represents the number of hours that you would like to request off. The “Calendar” screen opens,
allowing you to select the calendar dates for which you would like the
selected hours to be applied per-day.
Select Dates
This screen allows you
to select the dates on which you would like the chosen number of hours to be applied.

are as follows:
The
calendar month and year are displayed in the header at the top of the
screen.
Click
on the [LAST] and [NEXT] icons to scroll through months.
Click
on any day in the calendar to select it. When the [SUBMIT] icon is clicked,
the number of absence hours will be requested for each selected date in
the calendar (as in, “8 hours per selected date,” etc.).
Click
on the [SUBMIT] icon to send the Absence Request.
Click on the [CLEAR] icon
to clear the selections on calendar.

RED means that the request
has been “Denied.”
GREEN means that the

on the employee’s Time Card.
