Clock Profile Report
Description:
This report displays information on each Time Clock Profile that has
been entered into the TimeForce system.
Report Criteria:
The Report Criteria screen opens when you click on the report name from
the main "Reports" section of the software. This
screen is where you tell the system what data you would like it to report
on.
The Audit
Reports field allows you to select a different report from the
drop-down menu.
Put
a check mark in the Launch Report in
Separate Window box if you would like the report to open in a new
web browser window. With
this option de-selected the report is displayed directly below the Report
Criteria section of the screen.
The
Clock Connection field allows
you to select a specific connection type to report on (as in "Ethernet,"
"Serial" etc.).
The
Clock Group field allows you to
specify clocks from one group only
to be reported on.
The
Clock Type field
allows you to select a specific clock type to report on (as in "IQ
1000," "IQ 500," "V800," etc.).
Use
the Sort by field to select how
the information on the report will be sorted. Two
sort levels can be specified.
Example: "Clock ID" is selected in the first field,
and "Clock Type" is selected in the second. The
report will be sorted first by the specified clock ID, and
then by clock type..
The Options
section allows you to select how much information is to be displayed on
this report. Put
a check mark in the box next to each type of information that you would
like the report to display.
Click on the [DISPLAY REPORT] icon located directly below the Options
section of the screen to generate the report.
Report Output:
The report is separated into columns. The
header at the top of the report lists the type of information that is
displayed in the column below.
Note: The report output depends
greatly upon what you selected in the
Options section of the Report Criteria screen.
The Clock
ID column displays the ID specified in the clock profile.\
The Description
column displays the description entered for this clock in the system.
The Clock
Type column displays the type of time clock (as in "IQ 1000,"
"IQ 500," "V800," etc.).
The Group
column displays the Clock Group that this profile is assigned to (if applicable).
The Password
column displays the clock communication password.
The Connection
Type column displays the type of connection for this clock (as
in "Serial," "Ethernet," "Modem," etc.).
If the clock has a
connection type of "Ethernet," the IP
Address column displays the IP Address that the clock uses to communicate.
If the clock has a
connection type of "Ethernet," the Port
Number column displays the port number that the clock uses to communicate.
If the clock has a
connection type of "Serial," the Comport
column displays the communications port that the time clock is connected
to.
The
Baud column displays the baud
rate that the clock is set to communicate at.
If
the clock has a connection type of "Modem," the Phone
Number column displays the phone number that the clock can be reached
at.
If
the clock has a connection type of "Modem," the Modem
Init String column displays the initialization string that the
modem uses to dial the clock (if
applicable).
The
Department column displays the
department level that this clock profile is assigned to (if applicable).
The
Vacation Time column displays
the name of the policy in the TimeForce system that the clock pulls employee
vacation time information from.
The Sick Time column displays the
name of the policy in the TimeForce system that the clock pulls employee
sick time information from.
Click on the [SAVE] icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen
to save this report to a separate file. Click
on the [PRINT] icon to print the report.
