Shifts Report
Description:
This report displays the shifts that have been entered into the TimeForce
database.
Report Criteria:
The Report Criteria screen opens when you click on the report name from
the main "Reports" section of the software. This
screen is where you tell the system what data you would like it to report
on.
The Schedule
Reports field allows you to select a different report from the
drop-down menu.
Put a check mark in
the Launch Report in Separate Window
box if you would like the report to open in a new web browser window.
With this
option de-selected the report is displayed directly below the Report Criteria
section of the screen.
The
Department field allows you to
select which departments will be included in this report. Click on the
down arrow icon located to the right of the Show
Departments header to select departments.
Note: By default, all
department levels will be included in the report.
A
tree directory structure is displayed, showing each department level that
you have entered into the system. Click on the Include
Subs option to include the sub-departments of each selected department
level.
Use
the tree directory to navigate to the department levels that you would
like to include in the report.
Each
department is a link. Click on the links to select them for inclusion
in the report. Selected departments are displayed in blue. Unselected
departments are displayed in black.
Click
on the Clear All link to remove all
selected departments.
The
Quick Search section of
the screen allows you to easily search for the desired department levels
by department name or number. Enter the desired search criteria and click
on the [SEARCH] icon. The found results are displayed below.
If you would like
to view shifts assigned to a specific assignment only,
make the desired selection from the Assignment
Shift Drop Down field.
Use the Sort
by field to select how the information on the report will be sorted.
Two sort
levels can be specified.
Example: "Department" is selected in the first field,
and "Employee Name" is selected in the second. The
report will be sorted first by the department level that the employees
are assigned to, and then alphabetically by employee name.
Click on the [DISPLAY REPORT] icon located directly below the Sort By section of the screen to generate
the report.
Report Output:
The report is separated
into columns. The
header at the top of the report lists the type of information that is
displayed in the column below.
The
Assignment Shift column displays
the assignment that this shift is assigned to in the system.
The
Department column displays the
department level that this shift is assigned to.
The
Start Time column displays the
starting time of the shift.
The
End Time column displays the ending
time of the shift.
A check mark appears in the box for each day of
the week included in this shift.
Click on the [SAVE] icon
in the upper right-hand corner of the screen to save this report to a
separate file. Click
on the [PRINT] icon to print the report.
