Customized Rights User Options

The following list details the configurable access rights available for a “Customized Rights” user:

Note: Only users with “Administrative Policies” enabled in the Admin section of the permissions screen will have access to Assigned Employee Rights.

Admin

System Rights

  • Add/Remove User: Allows this user to add, remove, and modify the system users that are able to log into the TimeForce system.

  • Administrative Policies: Allows this user administrator-level access rights.

  • Company Edit: Allows this user to edit the company information that has been inserted into the system.

  • Pay Processing: Allows the user to generate the final time and attendance totals needed to “close” a pay period.

  • Time Offset Edit: Allows the user to change the default time offset.

  • Unlock Pay Period: Allows the user to unlock a pay period that has already been processed.

Employee Info

System Rights

  • Accruals Edit: Allows this user to edit the accrual totals of other employees.

  • Add Employee: Allows this user to create new employee profiles.

  • Remove Employees: Allows this user to remove employee profiles from the TimeForce system.

Assigned Employee Rights

  • Accruals View: Allows this user to view the accrual information of the employees that they are assigned to.

  • Employee Info Edit: Allows this user to edit the Employee Profile information of the employees that they are assigned to.

  • Employee Info View: Allows this user to view the Employee Profile information of the employees that they are assigned to.

  • Error Monitoring Edit: Allows this user to edit the Error Monitoring settings of the employees that they are assigned to.

  • Error Monitoring View: Allows this user to view the Error Monitoring settings of the employees that they are assigned to.

  • Inactive Employee View: Allows this user to view the Employee Profiles of employees who have a status of “inactive” within the TimeForce system.

  • Social Security Number: Allows this user to edit the social security numbers, Genders, Ethnicity, and Marital Status of the employees that they are assigned to.

Self Rights

  • Accruals Edit: Allows a user to edit their own Accruals.

  • Accruals View: Allows a user to view their own Accruals.

  • Employee Info Edit: Allows a user to edit their own Employee Information.

  • Employee Info View: Allows a user to view their own Employee Information.

  • Error Monitoring Edit: Allows a user to edit Employee Error Monitoring.

  • Error Monitoring View: Allows a user to view Employee Error Monitoring.

  • Social Security Number: Allows a person to view their own Social Security Number.

HR

System Rights

  • Benefit and Dependent Edit: Allows this user to create and edit Benefits and Dependents.

  • Disciplinary Review: Allows this user to review disciplinary action warnings.

  • Emergency Edit: Allows this user to create and edit emergency contact information.

  • Incident Edit: Allows this user to create and edit incident reports.

  • Policy Edit: Allows this user to create and edit company policies.

  • Property Edit: Allows this user to create and edit assigned property records.

  • Review Edit: Allows this user to create and edit performance reviews.

  • To Do Edit: Allows this user to create and edit to do lists.

  • Training Edit: Allows this user to create and edit training records.

Clocks

Note: This section will only be available if you have enabled "Clock Controls." See the System Setup section for more information.

Clock Controls

  • Company Message: Allows this user to create a company-wide message that will be displayed when employees punch at the IQ 1000.

  • Department Message: Allows this user to create a department-specific message that will be displayed when employees punch at the IQ 1000.

  • Employee Message: Allows this user to create an employee-specific message that will be displayed when the employee punches at the IQ 1000.

  • IQ Admin: Can modify everything pertaining to the IQ 1000 time clock.

Job Tracking

System Rights

  • Complete Jobs: Allows a person to complete jobs.

  • Equipment Edit: Allows a person to add and edit Equipment.

  • Job Edit: Allows a person to add and edit Job profiles.

  • Job Summary View: Allows a person to view the Job Summary section.

  • Job Tracking View: Allows a person to view Job Tracking.

  • Material Edit: Allows a person to add and edit Material.

  • Settings Edit: Allows a person to edit Job Tracking Settings.

  • Tasks Edit: Allows a person to add and edit Tasks.

Pay

System Rights

  • Pay Policies Edit: Allows the user to edit the pay policies of other employees, such as pay periods, overtime policies, etc.

  • Pay Policies View: Allows the user to view the pay policies of other employees, such as pay periods, overtime policies, etc.

  • Position And Salary Edit: Allows the user to edit the position and salary information of other employees. This is the employee's hourly or salary wage and department assignment.

  • Position And Salary View: Allows the user to view the position and salary information of other employees. This is the employee's hourly or salary wage and department assignment.

Schedule

Assigned Employee Rights

  • Schedule Edit: Allows users to edit the Schedules of the employees who are assigned to them.

  • Schedule Rule Edit: Allows this user to edit Schedule Rules.

  • Schedule Rule View: Allows this user to view Schedule Rules.

  • Schedule View: Allows users to view the Schedules of the employees who are assigned to them.

Self Rights

  • Schedule Edit: Allows this user to edit their own Schedule.

  • Schedule View: Allows this user to view their own Schedule.

Time Cards

System Rights

  • Mass Punches: Allows the user to create punches for multiple employees at once from the Supervisor screen.

Assigned Employee Rights

  • Allocate Hours: Allows a user to allocate another person’s hours to multiple Jobs or Departments.

  • Enter Absence: Allows users to insert Absence records for the employees who are assigned to them.

  • Enter Disbursements: Allows users to insert Disbursement records for the employees who are assigned to them.

  • Enter Punch Notes: Allows this user to enter notes on other people's punches.

  • Pay Period Adjustment: Allows this user to create Pay Period Adjustments for others.

  • Punch Create: Allows this user to create punches for other employees.

  • Punch Edit: Allows this user to edit punches for other employees.

  • Time Card Verify: Allows this user to verify other employees’ time cards as a Supervisor.

  • Time Card Verify Director: Allows this user to verify other employees' time cards as a Director.

  • Time Card View: Allows users to view the Time Cards of the employees who are assigned to them.

  • Total Hours Edit: Allows users to manually edit the hours and punches of the employees who are assigned to them.

Self Rights

  • Allocate Hours: Allows this user to allocate their own punched hours to multiple Jobs or Department hours.

  • Clock In/Out: Allows this user to use Self Service Punching.

  • Enter Absence: Allows this user to create their own absences entries.

  • Enter Disbursement: Allows this user to create their own disbursement entries.

  • Enter Punch Notes: Allows this user to enter notes on their own punches without being able to edit the assigned punch date or time.

  • Pay Period Adjustment: Allows this user to create their own Pay Period Adjustments.

  • Punch Create: Allows this user to create their own punches from the Time Card section of the program.

  • Punch Edit: Allows this user to edit their own punches in the Time Card section of the program.

  • Quick Clock In/Out: Allows this user to use Self Service Punching with no options on the punch screen.

  • Time Card View: Allows this user to view their own time card.

  • Total Hours Edit: Allows this user to edit their own hours and punches in the Time Card section of the program.
